New Sales Order System Function to Limit Print Capabilities
FreshByte has introduced a new feature to our Sales Order Screen. The 'Ready to Print' flag has been enhanced on the Sales Order Screen to limit print capability while the Sales Order is in edit mode. The system will automatically uncheck the 'Ready to Print' flag on the Sales Order when the user is in edit mode. This addition restricts the printing of Pick Tickets or Invoices from the shipping screen if the Sales Order is in edit mode. The routine to print invoices or pick tickets will now verify the 'Ready to Print' checkmark on all orders before proceeding, guaranteeing that invoices or pickets are not printed if the Sales Order is in edit mode. The option to utilize this feature is located in System Settings.
This setting works in conjunction with the following System Settings:
Do not Print Pick Ticket until "Ready to Print" is enabled
Do not Print Invoice until "Ready to Print" is enabled

New Columns Added to Enhance the Sales Order Transaction Report
FreshByte added two new columns to the Sales Order Transaction Report, specifically designed to enhance the information provided for Credit Memos. The detailed Excel Export now includes two valuable columns that offer key insights. The date column will automatically populate with the delivery date from the Credit Memo Screen, while an additional column will display the invoice number if the Credit Memo is linked to an Invoice. The filter criteria must be set to detail and the report must be exported to Excel to view these new details. These enhancements greatly improve sales analysis and reporting capabilities.
