Pricing Update - Costing by Raw Material
FreshByte has introduced an option that allows the user to calculate the pricing of finished goods based on raw materials. To utilize this feature, Inventory items must be flagged as 'raw material' or 'finished goods' in the Item Master and packout standards must be set up in the system.
Please contact FreshByte support to enable the pricing option.
The User will enter the Market Cost for the Raw Material in the Item Cost Worksheet. This utility will use the Market Cost entered in the item cost sheet to calculate the Market Cost of each finished item.
NOTE: This screen is used for price calculation only and does not change the actual cost of the finished goods.

New Feature Automatically Email Invoices
FreshByte now offers the ability to automatically email invoices. This system will exclusively send invoices that are in 'billed' status. To utilize this feature, ensure the 'Auto Print Invoice' option is selected on the 'Customers 1' tab in the Customer Master. The emails will adhere to FreshByte's standard emailing protocols and will be sent to the primary email address listed in the Customer Master, unless an alternative email address is specified for 'Invoice' in the Additional E-mail Settings.
To prevent duplicate emails, the system will flag each invoice once it has been sent.
After completing the initial setup, please contact the FreshByte support team to activate this feature. Additionally, inform our support team of the number of days back you would like the system to send invoices based on the 'requested delivery date.' Once activated, a log will be generated in the Logs area of FreshByte, allowing users to monitor any errors that occur during the sending process.

FreshByte Shipping Screen Enhancement -Delivery Method
FreshByte has updated the 'Shipping Method' on the shipping screen header to 'Delivery Method.' In addition, this new field has been added to the lower section of the shipping screen. Users can update the delivery method directly from the shipping screen while in edit mode. Any modifications made on the Shipping Screen will automatically be updated to the Sales Order upon saving.
